Dosunmu's Career-High 43 Leads Timberwolves Past Nuggets, but Edwards and DiVincenzo Sidelined

Ayo Dosunmu erupted for a career-high 43 points off the bench, shooting 13-for-17 from the field, as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Denver Nuggets 112-96 in Game 4 of their Western Conference quarterfinals on Saturday night in Minneapolis. The victory gives Minnesota a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

However, the win came at a significant cost. Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and guard Donte DiVincenzo both left the game with injuries. Edwards exited in the second quarter with a left knee issue, while DiVincenzo suffered a right ankle sprain in the third quarter. Their status for Game 5 remains uncertain.

Despite the absences, Dosunmu took over, adding six rebounds and five assists. He was supported by Jaden McDaniels, who contributed 22 points and eight rebounds, and Rudy Gobert, who recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

For Denver, Nikola Jokic led the way with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists for his seventh career playoff triple-double. Jamal Murray added 23 points, but the Nuggets could not overcome Minnesota's relentless offense.

The Timberwolves shot 52.3% from the field and made 14 three-pointers, while holding Denver to 44.2% shooting. Game 5 is set for Monday in Denver.
