The driver whose vehicle was struck by golf legend Tiger Woods during a recent DUI crash in Florida has officially retained legal counsel.

Court documents filed on Thursday reveal that Jeromy Bullard has hired Jason Fagnano, an attorney specializing in personal injury and auto accidents. The filing includes a notice of appearance and invocation of rights, ensuring Bullard's interests are protected throughout the unfolding legal proceedings. While this move guarantees he has professional representation during the criminal case against Woods, it does not necessarily indicate that a civil lawsuit has been filed at this time.

The collision occurred on March 27, when Woods' black Range Rover crashed into a pressure washer trailer towed by Bullard’s Ford pickup truck. Bullard reportedly saw the SUV approaching from behind but was unable to maneuver out of the way before the impact.

Woods, 50, struck the rear driver-side wheel of the trailer while attempting to turn into a driveway. The crash caused approximately $5,000 in property damage and left the trailer immobilized, requiring the wheel to be completely removed to clear the wreckage from the scene. Fortunately, neither party suffered physical injuries in the accident.

Following the incident, Woods was hit with a careless driving citation, alongside charges for DUI with property damage and refusing to submit to a lawful sobriety test. In the wake of the fallout, the iconic golfer has vowed to seek professional treatment outside of the United States to maintain his privacy.
