Catherine Bach, the actress who brought the iconic Daisy Duke to life in the classic television series The Dukes of Hazzard, recently shared a rare selfie from a night out in Nashville, Tennessee. The 72-year-old star, clad in a red blouse, blue jeans, and leather boots reminiscent of her character's famous style, was photographed with friend Abbie Celis outside Halls Chophouse restaurant.

In an Instagram post from April 9, Bach captioned the photo, "Through so many of life's milestones, we're more than friends, we're family!" She later shared a selfie of the pair with the simple caption "FAMILY" accompanied by a heart emoji.

This public appearance comes nearly six months after Bach's hospitalization was revealed by her former co-stars. In October, Ben Jones, who played mechanic Cooter Davenport on the show, announced on Facebook that Bach had been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on an emergency basis due to an embolism that likely developed following recent surgery.

John Schneider, who portrayed her onscreen cousin Bo Duke, confirmed the news on his own Facebook page, writing, "I just texted Catherine, and thankfully, she responded right away. Yes, she is in the hospital, but she assures me that she is going to be fine." He added, "We love you, Catherine!"

Bach has maintained close relationships with her Dukes of Hazzard castmates since the show ended in 1985. She attended Schneider's wedding to Dee Dee Sorvino earlier this year, demonstrating the enduring bonds formed during the show's seven-season run.

Reflecting on the series' lasting impact in a recent Fox News interview, Bach remarked, "Shows are a mystical thing at best, because you never know what's going to work and how things are going to click."

When asked about her signature Daisy Dukes—the denim shorts that became a cultural phenomenon—Bach quipped that she still wears them "if you come to my house and watch me garden." She playfully added, "Or the beach. I'll be honest, at the beach."
