Duran Duran has teamed up with iconic producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers for a new single, 'Free to Love,' a vibrant disco track that the band describes as a "call to all the people out there who want peace, hope and understanding to prevail."
Keyboardist Nick Rhodes shared that the collaboration, which features Rodgers' signature funk guitar and a driving four-on-the-floor beat, aims to spread a message of unity and joy. The song marks another chapter in the band's long history of blending New Wave with dance music, with Rodgers co-writing and producing the track alongside the band's frontman Simon Le Bon and bassist John Taylor.
'Free to Love' is expected to appear on Duran Duran's upcoming album, their first full-length release since 2021's 'Future Past.' Fans have already responded enthusiastically to the single's release, which has been streaming heavily on all major platforms. The band will also embark on a tour later this year, with Rodgers scheduled to join them for select dates.
