A traveler who booked an EasyJet Holidays package to Greece expecting a spa and gym was disappointed to find neither facility available at the resort. The holidaymaker paid for a stay at a retreat advertised as having spa and gym amenities, only to discover on arrival that the premises lacked both.
The customer complained to EasyJet Holidays, which initially offered only a partial refund. After the issue was highlighted by consumer advocates, the company apologized and provided a full refund for the misrepresented facilities.
"We booked the holiday specifically for the spa and gym, but when we got there, nothing existed. It was very misleading," the traveler said.
EasyJet Holidays stated that the resort description had been updated to correct the error and that they had compensated the affected customer. The case underscores the importance of checking resort amenities before booking, especially when specific facilities are a key part of the holiday experience.
