Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are not only co-stars in the upcoming sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, but also family through Tucci's marriage to Blunt's sister, Felicity Blunt. This unique dynamic made for a memorable, albeit chaotic, filming experience in Italy, where both actors brought their families along.

During production, the children—Blunt's daughters Hazel (12) and Violet (9), and Tucci's children Matteo (11) and Emilia (8)—became inseparable playmates, often running wild while the adults cooked and socialized. "The kids are running around," Tucci remarked, with Blunt adding, "We never see them. They're sort of feral."

The close family ties even influenced the filming schedule. "We barely had any scenes together," Blunt noted. "It was like they separated the naughty kids." She joked that their constant laughter and familiarity likely prompted producers to keep them apart on set.

Reflecting on the original film, Tucci played a pivotal role in fostering Blunt's friendship with Meryl Streep. After Blunt wrapped her scenes, Tucci encouraged her to say goodbye to Streep, who was deeply immersed in her method acting. "She came out of her trailer, and the wig was off, she had a black puffy coat on, and she ran towards me, and she went, 'You were so great!'" Blunt recalled. "And I cried all the way home."

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to premiere in theaters on May 1, reuniting the original cast, including Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, for a highly anticipated return to the fashion world.
