Season three Euphoria actress Jessica Blair Herman has set the record straight about rumored tension among the cast, insisting that the actors all shared a positive and collaborative working environment.
In a recent interview, Herman—who plays the judgmental neighbor of Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi's characters—dismissed any notion of a rift between Sweeney and Zendaya. "There was no drama," she stated. "They've created this beautiful working relationship and everyone wants to do the work."
While acknowledging that Zendaya's Rue and Sweeney's Cassie have limited screen time together due to separate storylines, Herman praised Sweeney's talent and generosity. "She's so generous and vulnerable. She's a real artist," Herman said of her co-star.
Despite the harmony among the cast, the show has faced turbulence behind the scenes. Composer Labrinth announced his abrupt exit in March, weeks before the season three premiere, citing difficulties with the creative team. In an Instagram Story, he wrote, "People will comfortably lie in this industry... I left because, last truth, when I work for someone, their vision is paramount to me. But I don’t let people treat me like s--t."
