Ex-Girlfriend Reveals Beckham Family Pressure: 'It Caused Me a Lot of Anxiety'

Hana Cross, former girlfriend of Brooklyn Beckham, has opened up about the intense pressure she felt during her relationship with the famous family, describing it as a source of significant anxiety.

In a recent interview with Hello! magazine, the 28-year-old model reflected on her nine-month romance with Brooklyn in 2019, revealing that warning signs emerged early in their relationship. "My time with the family caused me a lot of anxiety, in all honesty," Cross confessed. "There were a lot of warning signs and things that happened during the relationship that, in hindsight, should have made me think and maybe end the relationship or walk away from it a lot sooner than I did."

Cross described the whirlwind transition from her previous life to dating into one of the world's most famous families. "I was only 20, 21 when we dated, and I had just started modeling," she explained. "I came from living on a farm to moving to London and being thrown into a relationship like that."

"It's hard to know what's best to do in that situation. No one really knew, and I didn't, really. It wasn't something that I was super-open about, so advice from outside was hard to take."

The model's comments come amid ongoing public tensions between Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, and his parents David and Victoria Beckham. Cross acknowledged that recent family drama has brought back difficult memories. "I had that chapter in my life and wanted to move on from it," she said. "It's hard not to be mentally drawn back into that part of my life, especially with all this feud stuff coming out. It's hard because I don't look back on that as a fond time, on reflection."

Despite the challenges, Cross clarified that neither Victoria nor David Beckham attempted to silence her after the relationship ended. "I've never been pressured or received any warning from them not to speak out about it or say anything about the relationship," she noted. "After it happened, I just wanted to move on and make my own life and my own name for myself."

Regarding the current family rift, Cross expressed hope for reconciliation. "In terms of reconciling, I hope that they do, purely because they're a family and I think family is extremely important," she concluded. "I'm sure that whatever happens can be healed over time."
