Just days after being pushed out of 2026, Microsoft has revealed a new release date for the highly anticipated RPG Fable. During Sunday's Xbox Games Showcase, the company announced that the game will launch on February 23rd, 2027, with early access for Premium Edition buyers starting February 18th.
The announcement was accompanied by a fresh trailer showcasing more gameplay footage. This marks the first new entry in the beloved franchise since Fable III in 2010. Development has been extensive, but fans finally have a concrete date to mark on their calendars.
Fable is being developed by Playground Games, the studio behind the Forza Horizon series, and promises to bring the whimsical world of Albion back to life with modern graphics and gameplay mechanics.
