Rookie Migs Palanca dazzled with a double-double effort of 12 points and 10 rebounds while Rey Remogat poured 14 markers, seven assists, and three rebounds as the reigning three-time champion improved to 4-0 in the UAAP group.
Transferee Veejay Pre and Filipino-Canadian guard Elliot Dimaculangan each supplied nine points, while FSA Dieonte Miles chipped in seven markers.
In the NCAA side, Mapua University and San Beda University posted narrow victories over Emilio Aguinaldo College and Arellano University, respectively.

Veteran big man Andrei Igliane drilled the game-winning putback off a missed basket from Cyrus Nitura with eight seconds left, ultimately sealing an 85-83 win and giving the Cardinals their fourth win in a row for a 5-1 card.
Meanwhile, San Beda also pulled off a dramatic 76-75 win over Arellano, thanks to a game-winning basket from Jomel Puno.
Puno completed an alley-oop bucket off a pass from Dom Sarigumba, giving the defending NCAA champions a one-point advantage in the final second of the game as they kept the Chiefs winless. San Beda improved to 6-1 while Arellano slipped to 0-7.
In another game, Allan Laurenaria and Chris Hubilla lifted Jose Rizal University to a 78-69 victory over the struggling San Sebastian College-Recoletos.
Sophomore Laurenaria posted 13 points and 12 rebounds while transferee Hubilla had 17 markers and 10 boards as the rejuvenated Heavy Bombers took the solo spot at 7-1.
