At least five people were injured in a residential fire that broke out in Pasig City on Tuesday evening, according to authorities.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the blaze started around 8 p.m. in a residential area in Barangay San Miguel. Firefighters responded quickly and managed to contain the fire within an hour.
Initial investigation indicates the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit. The injured victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
Damage assessments are ongoing, and the BFP is continuing its investigation into the incident.
