Forest Boss Pereira Hits Out at Controversial Man Utd Goal: 'A Pity for the Game'

Nottingham Forest manager Vitor Pereira has expressed his frustration after Manchester United's second goal in their 3-2 Premier League victory at Old Trafford was allowed to stand, despite a contentious handball in the build-up.

Speaking after the match, Pereira said: "I must accept but I don't agree" with the referee's decision not to disallow the goal, which came after Bryan Mbeumo appeared to use his upper arm to control the ball before setting up the strike.

"It's a pity for the game," Pereira added. "These decisions can change the outcome of a match, and it's hard for the players to accept."

The incident occurred in the first half, with the score level, and ultimately proved pivotal as United went on to secure all three points.
