Former Wild Beasts frontman Hayden Thorpe is set to delve back into the beloved indie band's archives, announcing a series of special UK live shows where he will perform their tracks as a solo artist.

Marking the first time he has officially revisited the group's material in nine years, Thorpe has scheduled three exclusive performances for November 2026. The mini-tour will see the singer-songwriter taking the stage in Kendal, Leeds, and London to present the celebrated catalog in what is being described as its "purest form."

Thorpe shared that the inspiration for the upcoming shows came from the lasting emotional impact the band's music continues to have on its listeners.

"I’m fortunate enough that in my daily life I will quite often encounter a kind soul who’ll tell me how much a certain Wild Beasts song, album or show has meant to them," Thorpe explained. "I’ve come to learn that as time passes, the heart’s connections do not fade and the potency of the music remains strong."

Co-founded by Thorpe in 2002, Wild Beasts became a staple of the British indie rock scene over a prolific 15-year career. The band released five critically acclaimed studio albums, including their Mercury Prize-nominated 2009 breakthrough Two Dancers, 2011's Smother, and their final record, 2016's Boy King.

Following the band's amicable split in 2017, Thorpe launched a successful solo venture. He has since released three full-length albums, with his most recent project, Ness, arriving in 2024. Now, fans will finally get the chance to hear the soaring anthems that defined a generation of indie music, reimagined through the singular, intimate lens of their creator.
