Freddie Gibbs Reportedly Lands Special Role in Grand Theft Auto 6

Rapper Freddie Gibbs is rumored to be making a special appearance in the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, according to a new report.

Journalist and content creator HipHopGamer recently told PCGamer that he learned about the involvement while partying with developers at Rockstar Games. He teased that "a major rapper that left CM Punk bloody by accident" would feature in a special side mission. Fans quickly connected the dots to Gibbs, who earlier this year revealed he accidentally injured wrestler CM Punk while filming the 2025 horror movie Night Patrol.

"There are things in Grand Theft Auto that I know for a fact, because I got a chance to party with Rockstar," HipHopGamer said.

Gibbs previously contributed to the Grand Theft Auto universe with his track 'Still Livin'' appearing on GTA 5's Los Santos radio station. Despite the viral rumors about his GTA 6 role, the rapper has not publicly commented on the speculation.

Gibbs isn't the only musician reportedly involved in the upcoming game. In 2024, ScHoolboy Q confirmed his music would be featured in GTA 6, while T-Pain has stated he's working on the long-awaited sequel following his involvement with the GTA Online role-playing community NoPixel. Other artists like Panama and Neon Indian have also hinted at potential soundtrack contributions.
