Welcome to Signal Core Studio // Necxium, a new YouTube channel chronicling a solo game developer's journey from absolute beginner to creator of a sci-fi action game, TX-11: Containment. The channel launched on May 2, 2026, with a single video introducing the project, and has already garnered 15 views.
The creator, known as Necxium, describes TX-11: Containment as a "system-driven action game set inside a sealed containment structure on a hostile planetary world." The game's philosophy is built on three core pillars:
- Fixed World, Dynamic Systems: The facility layout never changes, but replayability comes from shifting system states, hazards, pressure, and player decisions.
- Survival Through Control: Players must manage decay, power core energy, combat efficiency, vents, and extraction timing to delay collapse and survive each run.
- Earned Progression & Atmosphere: Progress is earned through mastery — collecting DATA, crystals, lore, and improvements in a dark sci-fi world defined by tension and consequence.
Players take on the role of an activated AI Elite Soldier from one of three lost factions, reawakened to contain renewed crystal activity inside a system that cannot be shut down or destroyed, and only escalates when disturbed.
Necxium emphasizes that this is a personal, non-commercial project — a long-term challenge to learn game development from scratch. While AI tools are used for learning and planning, all implementation and creative decisions are made manually. There are no tutorials, no shortcuts, and no fake presentation — just raw, step-by-step learning through building, failing, fixing, and repeating.
