Rapper Future is asking a court to hold his ex-girlfriend Brittni Mealy in contempt, accusing her of leaking private information about him to the press.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the Grammy-winning artist claims Mealy violated court orders. While much of the filing is redacted, it appears to center on allegations that she has been sharing confidential details with the media.
The dispute stems from a lawsuit Mealy filed in March, in which she claimed Future failed to secure a $500,000 life insurance policy for their 13-year-old son, Prince. Future denied those allegations.
In his latest motion, Future asks the court to find Mealy in both civil and criminal contempt and seeks reimbursement for his legal fees.
Earlier this month, Mealy publicly stated that Future had not visited their son in 16 months. She also shared emails from Future's team accusing her of leaking the lawsuit, a charge she denies.
Notably, Mealy is represented by Michael Sterling, the partner of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Eva Marcille.
Future, whose real name is Nayvadius Wilburn, has at least seven children, including a son with singer Ciara.
