In a recent court filing, Brandon Barash, the ex-husband of “General Hospital” star Kirsten Storms, has been granted a temporary restraining order against her, citing a serious mental health crisis that he claims endangers their 12-year-old daughter.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Barash—who also appeared on the soap opera—requested the emergency order after alleging that Storms has been exhibiting erratic and paranoid behavior. The couple, who divorced in 2016, both relocated to Tennessee after their split. Barash claims Storms has faced eviction and struggled with unstable housing, often moving between hotels because she believed others were following her and their child.
Barash detailed a pattern of instability beginning in September 2024, stating Storms failed to maintain a permanent residence through June 2025. He also noted her car is at risk of repossession, and that he loaned her $5,000 which remains unpaid.
In a particularly alarming incident, Barash says that on May 19, 2025, Storms contacted him saying she was “experiencing delusions and hallucinations” and felt unfit to care for their daughter. With the help of Barash’s current wife, Storms was admitted to a hospital and placed on a psychiatric hold. However, after release, she reportedly acted as if nothing had occurred.
Barash further claims that in November 2025, Storms again called him, insisting that people were breaking into her apartment and moving items to “mess with her.” A friend of Storms allegedly told Barash the actress may be abusing Adderall and possibly other substances, and has experienced “repeated episodes of melting down, being triggered, hearing things/voices that weren't there.”
Most recently, Storms posted a video claiming she had been hacked, but did not address the restraining order.
Barash has asked the court to mandate a mental health evaluation for Storms. For now, she is allowed only supervised visitation with their daughter. A judge is scheduled to review the status of the restraining order later this week. TMZ reached out to Storms for comment but has not received a response.
