In a recent keynote presentation, Mohit Bajpai, Senior Software Engineer III at Softility Inc., outlined how generative AI is transforming network intelligence, moving beyond traditional anomaly detection to enable autonomous remediation. The talk, delivered to the Soft Computing Research Society, focused on applying models like Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), and TimeGAN to learn complex network patterns across cloud, edge, and 5G infrastructures. By leveraging large language model reasoning and reinforcement learning, these systems can automatically detect rare faults and initiate self-healing responses without human intervention. Bajpai emphasized that this approach not only improves reliability but also reduces downtime in modern distributed networks.
