Barangay Ginebra head coach Tim Cone issued a caution against becoming too dependent on import Justin Brownlee, despite the latter's career-high 54-point performance in a recent PBA game.
"We can't be too Justin-centric," Cone said after the game. "He's an incredible player, but basketball is a team sport. We need everyone to contribute."
Brownlee's scoring explosion was a spectacle, but Cone emphasized the importance of balanced offense and defense moving forward. The Gin Kings will need to diversify their attack to sustain success in the conference.
