Ginebra Extends Winning Streak, Clinches Quarterfinal Spot with Dominant Win Over Titan Ultra

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel continued its impressive run in the PBA Commissioner's Cup, securing a 110-98 victory over Titan Ultra on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The win marked the team's fifth straight and guaranteed them a spot in the quarterfinals.

Justin Brownlee led the way with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Japeth Aguilar added 24 points and 8 rebounds. The Gin Kings broke open a tight game in the third quarter, outscoring Titan Ultra 31-19 to take a commanding lead they would never relinquish.

"We knew this was a crucial game for us," said Ginebra head coach Tim Cone. "The guys stepped up and executed well, especially in the second half. Securing a quarterfinal berth early gives us some breathing room."

Titan Ultra fought hard behind import Michael Craig's 28 points and 12 rebounds, but their turnovers proved costly. The Gin Kings capitalized on 18 Titan Ultra turnovers, scoring 22 points off them.

Ginebra now holds a 7-3 record, tied for second place in the standings, while Titan Ultra dropped to 4-6.
