Govee has unveiled its largest ceiling light yet, the Ceiling Light Ultra, which uses a dense grid of LEDs to display colorful effects and even low-resolution images. The light, designed to be mounted flush against the ceiling, can mimic patterns, gradients, and simple animations, effectively turning the entire fixture into a pixelated screen.
Beyond its visual flair, the Ceiling Light Ultra functions as a standard smart home light, compatible with voice assistants and the Govee Home app for scheduling and customization. It also supports music sync, changing colors in time with audio from a connected device.
The fixture measures 16 inches square and is now available for pre-order at $129.99, with shipping expected to begin in May. Govee claims the light covers up to 400 lumens of brightness and can produce over 16 million colors.
This launch follows a string of recent Govee releases, including solar-powered outdoor string lights and a cordless table lamp, as the company expands its smart lighting ecosystem.
