Two burglars were arrested in Mandaluyong City after a GPS tracker planted in stolen items led police directly to their location. The suspects, whose identities have not been released, allegedly broke into a house and made off with valuables, unaware that one of the items contained a tracking device.

The homeowner reported the burglary immediately, and officers from the Mandaluyong City Police Station used the GPS signal to track the suspects to a nearby area. The tracker's precise location allowed authorities to quickly surround the hideout and apprehend the duo without incident.

Police recovered several stolen items, including electronics and jewelry, which are believed to belong to the victim. The suspects are currently in custody and face charges of robbery. Authorities are investigating whether they are linked to other recent burglaries in the area.

"The GPS tracker was instrumental in solving this case quickly," a police spokesperson said. "We encourage residents to consider using similar devices to protect their property."
