New details have emerged in the murder case of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found in the Tesla of singer D4vd. According to the autopsy report released by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner on April 22, the teen was missing two fingers when her remains were discovered at a Hollywood tow yard last year.

The report states that the left ring and pinky fingers "appear to have been mutilated" and were not located during the scene examination. Additionally, the left eye was absent, and the right eye showed extensive postmortem changes. The cause of death was determined to be multiple penetrating injuries.

Rivas Hernandez's severely decomposed and dismembered body was found in the front trunk of the Tesla on September 8, the day after what would have been her 15th birthday. The vehicle, owned by D4vd (real name David Anthony Burke), had been impounded after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills. Prosecutors allege the body had been in the car for over four months while D4vd was on a national tour.

D4vd has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, unlawful mutilation of human remains, and continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14. His attorneys stated, "The actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death. We will vigorously defend David's innocence."

D4vd, originally from Queens, New York, rose to fame after he started making music on his phone at his mother's suggestion. He released his debut album Withered in April 2025 and embarked on a world tour. He remains in police custody as the case continues.
