During its Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, Microsoft announced that Halo: Campaign Evolved, the highly anticipated remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign, will be released on July 28th for Xbox Series S / X, PC, and PS5.
The reveal was accompanied by a new mission trailer showcasing “Operation: Meteorite,” a fresh three-mission storyline set one year before the events of the first game. The arc features Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson in a prequel adventure.
Originally announced last year, Campaign Evolved promises to modernize the classic campaign while introducing new content for longtime fans.
