Hannah Brown is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a rare uterine condition that could have impacted her fertility.

The former Bachelorette star revealed on Instagram that doctors initially suspected a didelphys uterus (double uterus) but later confirmed she has a bicorporeal septate uterus, where the uterus is divided into two separate cavities, potentially leading to infertility issues.

"The good news is, it's something that can be treated with surgery," Brown, 31, wrote, emphasizing that while she and husband Adam Woolard eventually want children, "family planning just hasn't been front of mind."

She admitted she still isn't sure if she's ready to become a mother, but felt it was time to take the first step. Brown expressed gratitude for her husband, parents, and fans who shared their own stories, saying, "I also know how fortunate I am to have found this out ahead of time."

Last year, Brown detailed her shock at being diagnosed with a double uterus. On a May 2025 episode of Maria Menounos' Heal Squad podcast, she said, "I definitely think I would like to have a child... But to have the knowledge that [surgery is] something that you're gonna want to take care of when you're ready... was really helpful."
