Hawks Edge Knicks Again, McCollum Leads Second Straight Nail-Biter

The Atlanta Hawks secured another close victory over the New York Knicks on Thursday night, winning 112-108 at Madison Square Garden. CJ McCollum led the charge with 28 points, including a crucial three-pointer in the final minute that put the Hawks ahead for good.

"We just found a way to win again," McCollum said. "It's a tough environment, but our guys stayed composed."

The Hawks, who also won the first game of the series by a narrow margin, now hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven playoff series. Trae Young added 24 points and 10 assists, while Dejounte Murray contributed 18 points and eight rebounds.

New York fought hard behind Julius Randle's 32 points and 12 rebounds, but the Knicks could not overcome Atlanta's balanced attack. Jalen Brunson added 25 points, but missed a potential game-tying three-pointer as time expired.

Game 3 shifts to Atlanta this Saturday.
