Sharon Stone has locked lips with her fair share of Hollywood leading men, but one legendary actor stands head and shoulders above the rest: Robert De Niro.

During an appearance on SiriusXM's Radio Andy, the 68-year-old actress reflected on her time filming the 1995 crime classic Casino, revealing that her iconic co-star delivered an unforgettable on-screen smooch.

Stone, who played the glamorous hustler Ginger McKenna opposite De Niro, recalled one specific scene where she had to ask his character for cash to use the restroom. After she scoffed at a $50 offer, he handed over a crisp $100 bill, prompting Stone to lean in for a kiss that absolutely blew her away.

"He kissed me right out of my shoes," Stone confessed. "He just really knocked me out."

The romantic exchange was so electrifying that it even left acclaimed director Martin Scorsese blushing. According to Stone, when Scorsese called "cut" and tentatively asked if they wanted to shoot another take to be safe, both actors eagerly agreed that they needed one more round.

Stone has never shied away from praising the romantic moment. In a previous 2020 interview, she referred to the kiss as the absolute "pinnacle" of her on-screen romances, explaining that her deep admiration for the legendary actor played a massive role in making the experience so special.

"He was the actor that I admired the most... I just held him in such extraordinarily high regard," she explained. "I was just so madly in love with him that as an actress, to start with that, he probably could have hit me in the head with a hammer and I would have been like, 'Oh yeah!'"

Beyond the famous kiss, Stone maintains that starring in Casino was a transformative period in her life. She credits De Niro with teaching her more about the craft of acting than any other project in her career, and she still holds immense affection for Scorsese and her other co-stars, including Joe Pesci and James Woods.

Ultimately, when it comes to her history of Hollywood make-out sessions, Stone admits the bar was set impossibly high back in 1995. "I don't know that I could compare anything else to that," she joked. "Everything else was kind of like, meh."
