Heart Evangelista has revealed that her former on-screen partner and ex-boyfriend John Prats was her first love.
The Global Fashion Icon shared this personal revelation during an appearance on the talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, where she reflected on their past relationship and how young they were at the time.
"Looking back and when I saw him again, I realized that I think I dethroned him by giving him the title of first love because he made me cry," Heart said.
She described their dynamic as intense, adding, "We were brutal to each other, so I thought, that couldn't be love because we were so brutal... We grew up together, six years of my life. From 13 to 20, we were a loveteam."
According to Heart, their relationship was confusing at the time—they couldn't tell if it was just work or if it was real love.
Interestingly, Heart revealed she played matchmaker for John, introducing him to his now-wife, Isabel Oli. "They were just talking, and Isabel Oli and I were taping together, and I was pairing them up," she said.
When asked about the possibility of a G-Mik reunion, Heart responded, "I never really thought about it until maybe the moment we reconnected with Angelica [Panganiban] and John. Who knows, you never know."
The two former stars reconnected last March, posing together for photos that Heart shared on Instagram with the caption "Miss and Yuan forever," referencing their characters from the iconic show.
