High-Profile Inmates D4vd and Nick Reiner Share L.A. Jail Facility

Two high-profile defendants now find themselves behind bars at the same Los Angeles County correctional facility, creating an unusual convergence of celebrity criminal cases.

Singer D4vd, who faces murder charges in the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, has been transferred to Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Downtown Los Angeles, according to official records. Law enforcement sources indicate the transfer was prompted by authorities' desire for enhanced supervision, citing D4vd's status as a celebrity inmate at the center of a widely publicized case.

D4vd has been placed in administrative segregation but is not on suicide watch, according to sources familiar with the situation.

Coincidentally, Nick Reiner has been housed at Twin Towers since at least December while awaiting trial for the alleged murders of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner. The facility now hosts both defendants as their respective cases progress through the legal system.

D4vd remains in custody without bail after pleading not guilty to the charges against him. The singer's transfer adds another layer to what has become one of Los Angeles' most closely watched criminal proceedings.
