Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) has officially opened its first dealership in Eastern Visayas, marking a significant milestone in the company's nationwide expansion. The new facility, located in Tacloban City, Leyte, aims to serve customers in Region 8 and strengthen Honda's foothold in the Visayas region.
In a statement, HCPI President Masahiko Yamazaki expressed enthusiasm about bringing the brand closer to customers in the area. "This dealership represents our commitment to providing the best products and services to our growing customer base in Eastern Visayas," he said.
The full-service dealership offers sales, after-sales services, and genuine Honda parts, covering popular models like the Honda City, Civic, CR-V, and HR-V. It features state-of-the-art service bays and a modern showroom designed to enhance the customer experience.
Local officials welcomed the investment, noting it will create jobs and boost the region's economy. HCPI expects the new dealership to serve not only Tacloban but also surrounding provinces, reducing the need for residents to travel to Cebu or Manila for vehicle purchases and maintenance.
