Popular internet personality N3on experienced a horrific moment during a live broadcast this weekend when the golf cart he was riding in seemingly struck a pedestrian.
The incident unfolded on Saturday during the 59th Annual Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade. N3on was conducting one of his signature "IRL" (in real life) streams, taking his massive audience out into the unpredictable crowds rather than broadcasting from a controlled indoor environment.
The festive atmosphere quickly turned disastrous. While N3on was seated in the back of the golf cart, the vehicle came to a sudden, jarring halt as a woman began to scream in terror off-camera.
Immediately following the collision, the streamer and his fellow passengers abandoned the cart and fled the immediate vicinity. Visibly distressed by the ordeal, N3on was later recorded sitting on a nearby curb with his head buried in his hands, attempting to process the chaotic accident.
Conversations captured on the stream's audio shed some light on the terrifying scene. When N3on asked if the woman had attempted to jump onto the moving vehicle, another individual shot down the theory. The bystander claimed the driver simply struck the woman and kept moving, allegedly causing severe damage.
It remains unclear what relationship, if any, the streamer has with the driver of the cart. N3on was entirely relegated to the back seat during the incident and took no part in operating the vehicle. Details regarding the victim's identity and the extent of her injuries have not yet been released.
