Hugging Face, the open-source company democratizing machine learning, has announced the launch of its first Student Ambassador Program. The initiative aims to support students who are passionate about teaching machine learning (ML) to their peers and communities worldwide.
Selected ambassadors will receive resources and support, including:
- A network of peers for collaboration
- Workshops and direct support from the Hugging Face team
- Early insights into the latest projects and features
- Merchandise and official recognition as a Hugging Face Ambassador
To be eligible, students must:
- Validate their student status
- Have completed at least one machine learning or data science course (online courses count)
- Be enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Be users of the Hugging Face Hub or libraries
- Adhere to the Hugging Face Code of Conduct
Applications are open until June 13, 2022, with the program running from June 30 to December 31, 2022. Interested students can apply here.
