A newly released trailer for Netflix's upcoming docuseries Hulk Hogan: Real American offers a glimpse into the wrestling icon's final interview before his death in July 2025, featuring poignant reflections on his legacy.

In the trailer, Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, is heard contemplating his lasting impact. "I can't predict what the final act of the story is gonna be," he says in a voiceover. "But the legend of Hulk Hogan will live forever."

The documentary, set to consist of four one-hour episodes, aims to reveal the man behind the persona. Hogan expresses hope that the series will clarify his true character. "Some people hate me, but after I'm gone, I think people don't know the truth," he remarks. "Who was this guy really? I really was here for a reason more than just wrestling."

Among those featured in the trailer is Hogan's ex-wife, Linda Hogan, who was married to the wrestler from 1983 to 2009. Despite their estrangement, she shares a heartfelt perspective. "We didn't speak to each other anymore, but I realized, 'I still love him,'" Linda says.

Following Hogan's death from a heart attack at age 71, Linda publicly expressed her grief on Instagram, writing, "I had no idea he would pass away this soon... We all really thought he would make a comeback! Big surprise. We are all devastated." She described the profound shock of his passing, noting, "I've been weeping all day. The finality. It's just shocking." Despite family rifts—including a complicated relationship with their daughter Brooke—Linda emphasized, "We still were a family." She concluded her tribute with, "I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP."

The docuseries also includes interviews with Hogan's friends and peers, promising an in-depth look at his life both inside and outside the ring. Hulk Hogan: Real American is scheduled to premiere on Netflix, offering fans a final, intimate portrait of the wrestling legend.
