Humphries and Price Clinch Premier League Play-Off Berths in Birmingham

Defending champion Luke Humphries secured his first nightly victory of the Premier League Darts season by defeating Gerwyn Price 6-4 in the final in Birmingham, with both players confirming their spots in the play-offs.

Humphries, who reached his third consecutive night final, delivered a dominant performance against Stephen Bunting (6-0) and a comeback win over Luke Littler (6-3) before averaging over 100 again in the final. The world number two has now guaranteed a top-four finish after climbing from seventh place in week 10. He and Price are level on points heading into the final league night in Sheffield on 21 May.

Price recovered from a slow start against Michael van Gerwen to win 6-5, then beat Gian van Veen in the semifinals to secure his O2 Arena spot. They join Luke Littler and Jonny Clayton, who had already qualified after week 12.

Seven-time winner Michael van Gerwen misses the play-offs for the second consecutive year, along with debutant Gian van Veen and Stephen Bunting. The final league night will determine the semifinal pairings: Littler is guaranteed to finish top and will face the fourth-placed player, while Clayton (second) will play the third-placed finisher.
