A new video from Srinakharinwirot University's Computer Engineering department showcases a Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System designed to optimize battery and fuel usage in hybrid vehicles. The system combines neural network learning capabilities with fuzzy logic reasoning to intelligently manage power distribution between the electric motor and internal combustion engine.
Developed by researchers at the Computational Intelligence Research Lab (CIRL), the system aims to improve fuel economy and extend battery life by adapting to driving conditions in real time. The work is part of ongoing projects in fuzzy system engineering and artificial intelligence at the university's Faculty of Engineering.
