Ice Spice Breaks Silence with Witty Remark After Shocking McDonald's Assault

Rapper Ice Spice has publicly addressed a violent altercation that occurred at a Hollywood McDonald's, responding with a humorous social media quip after surveillance footage of the attack surfaced online.

In a video posted to X on April 17, the 26-year-old artist, born Isis Naija Gaston, shared a clip of the incident with the caption: "This wouldn't happen at a Wendy's." The footage, originally obtained by TMZ, shows the "Did It First" rapper being assaulted inside the fast-food restaurant on April 15.

The surveillance video captures Ice Spice sitting in a booth with a friend when a woman identified as Vayah approaches their table. After a brief verbal exchange, Vayah leans in and slaps the rapper across the face before being pulled away by a man. Ice Spice then follows the pair outside, where the confrontation escalates into a physical fight in the street.

"Let me fight her," Ice Spice is heard saying in the clip. "On your mama, let me fight her."

The altercation continued with punches exchanged until Ice Spice fell onto her back. Following the video's release, her attorney, Bradford Cohen, issued a strong statement condemning the attack.

"The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all criminal and civil avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions," Cohen told Billboard. "We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their apparent lack of appropriate security."

Cohen emphasized that the individuals involved "obviously did not realize that we would get the video" and suggested they were attempting to "go viral" with their actions. "The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots," he added.

E! News has reached out to Ice Spice's representatives and the Los Angeles Police Department for further comment but has not yet received responses. The incident has sparked discussions about celebrity safety and security in public spaces.
