Former "Below Deck" star Trevor Walker found himself in turbulent waters this week after a harrowing DUI arrest in Florida, during which he allegedly begged officers for leniency after nearly crashing into a patrol cruiser.
According to an incident report from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, the reality television personality was behind the wheel of a red Chevrolet Silverado when he was clocked going 75 mph in a 45 mph zone. The situation escalated when Walker reportedly veered across the center divider, heading straight for an oncoming police vehicle and forcing the officer to take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision.
Upon being pulled over, Walker's behavior immediately raised red flags. Authorities claim the Season 4 alum grew defensive, blatantly denying the near-miss and repeatedly begging the officer for a "break." Despite his wallet being in his back pocket, he fumbled to locate it and pleaded with the cop to simply drive him home, insisting he lived nearby.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, a visibly agitated Walker allegedly told officers he was "f***ed." During the traffic stop, he admitted to driving without a valid license and having a history of prior DUI convictions. The arresting officer also noted obvious signs of impairment, describing Walker's eyes as watery and glassy, with extremely dilated pupils that failed to react to a flashlight.
Walker was taken into custody on Monday and released a few hours later after posting bond. However, sources close to the Bravo star—who is perhaps best remembered for drawing the ire of Captain Lee Rosbach on the hit show—claim he is now changing his tune. Walker reportedly insists he was merely speeding, denies being under the influence of any substances, and feels officers unduly pressured him into performing field sobriety tests.
