Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds has unveiled a 1970s-inspired soundtrack for his newly released video game, Last Flag. The ten-track album, created in collaboration with guitarist Wayne Sermon, songwriter JT Daly, and singer Marcos Issaak, is now available for download on Steam.
Last Flag, developed by Reynolds' independent studio Night Street Games, is a fast-paced 5v5 shooter that reimagines the classic Capture the Flag format within a televised 1970s game show setting. The game, co-founded by Reynolds and his brother Mac, launched on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store after a series of beta tests.
"Relive all your favorite game moments in a soundtrack truly worthy of a hit television show in the 1970s. With period-appropriate instruments and recording techniques, this collection of original songs feels like it belongs anywhere but in a shooter game in 2026," states the album's description.
The soundtrack features tracks ranging from the passionate "Blood of My Blood" to the dreamy "Fex TV Theme," designed to immerse players in the game's retro aesthetic. Last Flag challenges players to hide their flag, locate the enemy's, and defend it for a minute to secure victory, blending strategy and chaotic fun.
