Inside Scotland's World Cup camp: Back shaving, nose tape, and European plugs

As Scotland prepares for their first World Cup in 28 years, the squad has opened up about life in camp, revealing some surprising secrets.

From John McGinn packing a European plug adaptor for the US to Lyndon Dykes following Ryan Christie around like a dog, the players shared candid insights during a media day in Fort Lauderdale.

Liam Kelly even confessed to shaving Grant Hanley's back on a regular basis. "I need to bring something to the party," said the likely third-choice goalkeeper, who was named the squad's hype-man.

Other oddities include Christie's oura ring and nose tape for sleep tracking, and Findlay Curtis' massage gun. McGinn, who initially brought European adaptors, has since corrected the mistake.

When it comes to plane seating, Hanley was described as "a bear" who takes up too much room, while Curtis was called "me times 100" by Aston Villa captain McGinn.

The team is currently in Florida for a pre-tournament camp to acclimatize ahead of matches against Haiti, Morocco, and Brazil.
