Iqunix has launched two limited-edition keyboards celebrating the iconic 1995 anime film Ghost in the Shell. Based on the company's EV63 Hall effect keyboard, these designs merge stunning aesthetics with high-performance gaming features.

The keyboards come in two variants: "Shell Core" and "Cyber Blue." Both feature aluminum cases, vibrant RGB lighting, frosted keycaps on select keys, and character art from the film. The Cyber Blue edition includes a subtle outline of Major Motoko Kusanagi from the original poster, making it less office-friendly but highly collectible.

Under the hood, the EV63 uses Hall effect switches with rapid trigger technology, offering an 8,000Hz polling rate for competitive gaming. It is wired only, a trade-off for its ultra-low latency. The KeyTok Nova linear switches provide a crisp, satisfying typing feel, and the keyboard's build quality is excellent, weighing about 2.7 pounds.

At $249, it's a significant premium over the standard $169 EV63, but for fans of the franchise, the unique design and solid performance justify the cost. These keyboards coincide with the July release of a new Ghost in the Shell anime series.
