Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday that it had successfully struck 18 targets across US military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. The IRGC also declared the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime chokepoint for global oil shipments.
"In response to recent provocations, our forces launched precise attacks on 18 identified targets at US bases in the region," an IRGC statement said. "All targets were hit with high accuracy, neutralizing threats to our national security."
