Istanbul to Host Formula 1 Grand Prix from 2027 in Multi-Year Deal

Istanbul has secured a deal to host the Formula 1 Grand Prix for at least five years starting in 2027, marking the return of the Turkish circuit to the racing calendar.

The Intercity Istanbul Park circuit, located on the Asian side of the city, is renowned among drivers and fans for its challenging layout and scenic backdrop. The track last staged a Formula 1 race in 2021, after a long hiatus.

Under the new agreement, Turkey's largest city will become a regular fixture on the F1 schedule, bolstering the sport's presence in the region. The exact dates for the inaugural race in 2027 have yet to be announced.

The decision is expected to boost tourism and global visibility for Istanbul, while giving F1 fans another exciting venue to look forward to in the coming years.
