Jack Grealish: 'I Just Want to Help as Much as I Can' - Everton Star Extends Special Olympics Role

On-loan Everton midfielder Jack Grealish has renewed his commitment as a principal ambassador for Special Olympics GB, vowing to continue supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities.

The 30-year-old, currently on loan from Manchester City, spoke to BBC Sport about the deep personal significance of the role, which he says is heavily influenced by his sister Hollie.

"All I want to do is help as much as I can," Grealish said. "Seeing the joy and determination of these athletes inspires me every day. It's a privilege to be part of their journey."

Grealish first became an ambassador in 2020 and has since been actively involved in fundraising and awareness campaigns. His extended role comes as he continues his recovery from a recent injury, with reports suggesting his rehabilitation is progressing well.

Special Olympics GB provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Grealish's involvement has helped raise the organization's profile, leveraging his Premier League status to promote inclusion and sport for all.
