Coachella 2026 has unveiled its set times with a major last-minute addition: rock icon Jack White will perform a surprise set during the festival's first weekend.
The White Stripes frontman joins headliners Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and Karol G on the bill, scheduled for a 45-minute performance at the Mojave Tent on Saturday, April 11 at 3 PM. This marks a tradition for Coachella organizers, who have previously booked surprise Saturday afternoon slots with artists like Ed Sheeran and Weezer.
"A last minute, unexpected addition for the Saturday afternoon slot is becoming a tradition from Coachella organizers," the festival announcement noted.
The timing coincides with White's recent musical activity—he released two new singles, 'G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs' and 'Derecho Demonico,' on Friday and performed them live on Saturday Night Live just days before the Coachella announcement.
The 2026 festival returns to its desert home in Indio, California, spanning two weekends: April 10-12 and April 17-19. While most artists will perform at similar times during both weekends, it remains unclear whether White will appear during the second weekend.
Beyond the headliners, the lineup features an eclectic mix including The xx, Nine Inch Noize (a collaboration between Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize), Disclosure, Turnstile, Ethel Cain, KATSEYE, The Strokes, Addison Rae, Labrinth, David Byrne, Interpol, Alex G, BIGBANG, Laufey, Iggy Pop, FKA Twigs, Wet Leg, and Clipse.
Coachella will offer online streaming options for those unable to attend in person, though specific broadcast details are yet to be announced.
