In a recent interview with Queen Camilla at the New York Public Library, Jenna Bush Hager revealed that over 20 years ago, she brought her then-boyfriend (now husband) Henry Hager as her date to meet the royals for the first time.
The meeting occurred during the then-Duchess of Cornwall's first visit to America with her husband, King Charles, as a married couple. The royals visited Jenna's parents at the White House, and Jenna decided to introduce her six-month-old boyfriend to the dignitaries.
"I brought Henry, my husband, as my like, six-month-old boyfriend," Jenna recalled. "And he was, I remember he was like, 'Wow, you're really throwing me into the fire with this!'"
The anecdote came during Jenna's exclusive sit-down with Queen Camilla, marking their second meeting after all those years.
