Guillermo Rodriguez, the beloved sidekick from "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," is swapping his microphone for dancing shoes. TMZ has confirmed that Rodriguez has signed on to compete in Season 35 of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."
The longtime late-night fixture, known for his comedic celebrity interviews and red carpet antics, will take the ballroom floor this fall alongside a growing roster of contestants. Reality stars Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller have already been announced, as well as social media personality and Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson.
Rodriguez has been a staple of late-night television for years, earning a loyal fan base through his humorous segments with host Jimmy Kimmel. Season 35 follows last season's victory by Robert Irwin and pro partner Witney Carson, who took home the Mirrorball Trophy. The full cast is expected to be revealed soon.
