Joe Exotic Sent to Solitary Confinement Following Controversial Social Media Activity

Joe Exotic, the flamboyant star of the "Tiger King" documentary series, has been placed in solitary confinement at a federal prison in Texas due to social media posts made on his behalf, according to his attorney.

Peter Ticktin, Joe Exotic's legal representative, confirmed that his client was moved to the Special Housing Unit last week after prison officials took issue with content shared online. While the exact trigger remains unclear—whether it was a single post or a pattern of activity—Ticktin stated simply, "The prison decided not to like his posts."

"There are a lot of innocent people in the prison system that should not be there. I do say when the shoe fits ... but it doesn't in this case at all," Ticktin emphasized, maintaining his client's innocence.

Currently held in isolation, Joe Exotic's legal team hopes for his release within 15 days, though no firm timeline exists. Ticktin noted he hasn't been able to speak with his client since the transfer to solitary confinement.

Despite this setback, Exotic's camp continues to challenge his conviction, which they claim is based on false testimony. Ticktin specifically alleged that key witness Allen Glover committed perjury during the trial.

Meanwhile, efforts for a presidential pardon remain active. All necessary paperwork has been submitted, and while the process involves significant waiting, Ticktin expressed cautious optimism about this long-shot bid for freedom.
