Josh Duggar's Prison Release Pushed Back Again, Now Faces Two Extra Months

Josh Duggar's time behind bars has been extended once more, adding two months to his federal prison sentence. The former reality TV star, who was convicted in 2021 for possessing child sexual abuse material, is now scheduled for release on February 2, 2033, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

This marks at least the third delay to his release date, which was originally set for August 2032. The reason for the latest extension remains unclear, though Duggar's cousin, Amy Duggar King, claims he has been placed back in solitary confinement for an alleged rules violation, which she believes led to the additional time.

Duggar was sentenced to 151 months in 2022 after being found guilty on two counts. Upon release, he will face 20 years of probation and must register as a sex offender.
