Justin Theroux is basking in the glow of new parenthood, describing the experience as "heaven" after he and his wife, actress Nicole Brydon Bloom, welcomed their first child—a baby boy.
"I'm in heaven," Theroux exclusively told E! News at the New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on April 20. "It's so hard to even encapsulate what it feels like. But it's the most wonderful thing that's ever happened to me. I can't think of anything that tops it."
The couple, who married in March 2025, made their first red carpet appearance together since the birth. Theroux joked about his eagerness to return to his newborn, saying, "Soon as the credits roll, I'm out."
Nicole Brydon Bloom announced the arrival on Instagram on April 18 with a black-and-white photo of the newborn resting on Theroux's chest, captioned simply, "He's here. We are so in love."
The pregnancy came as a joyful surprise to the couple. In a March interview on Today, Bloom shared, "We weren't entirely planning it, but we were excited to start a family." She humorously recalled breaking the news to Theroux over breakfast, saying, "I was like, 'Well, I can walk you through it. It was a team effort.'"
At the film premiere, Theroux also took a moment to praise his co-star Emily Blunt, calling her "a very deeply funny woman" who consistently makes him laugh.
The birth marks a significant new chapter for Theroux, 54, and Bloom, 32, who began their family shortly after their star-studded wedding in Mexico last year.
