Kate Hudson made a special appearance at the season two premiere of Netflix's Running Point on April 15, but it was her 14-year-old son Bingham "Bing" Bellamy who stole the show with his rare red carpet debut.
The mother-son duo arrived in coordinated white outfits for the Hollywood event, with Hudson in a halter dress with black embellishments and Bing in a button-down shirt and black pants. Throughout the evening, the actress kept her teenage son close, frequently resting her hand on his shoulder as they posed for photographers.
"Season 2 LFG!!!" Hudson wrote on Instagram alongside photos from the event. "Running Point is back on @netflix April 23."
The Instagram post featured two sweet moments between mother and son—one showing them standing side-by-side with Hudson's arm around Bing's shoulder, and another capturing her playfully tickling his chin as he smiled for the camera.
Bing, whom Hudson shares with ex-fiancé and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, typically avoids the public eye. His last major appearance was nearly a decade ago at his grandmother Goldie Hawn's annual charity event in 2016.
Despite his limited public appearances, Hudson has previously revealed that her son shares her musical talents. In a 2023 birthday tribute, she described him as her "drummer baby" who plays "like he walks through life, sharp, vibrant, caring, dedicated and always perfectly wild and unpredictable."
Bing isn't the only one of Hudson's children showing support for her career recently. Last month, her eldest son Ryder, 22, accompanied her to the Vanity Fair Oscars party, where Hudson was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Song Sung Blue.
"I've never been more proud of my mother," Ryder told Entertainment Tonight at the event. "I have to say, I've seen my mom close up more than anybody... put in more work and more dedication and more time than I've ever seen in my life."
Hudson also shares daughter Rani Rose, 7, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
